Welcome to MeansFarmsLLC, nestled in Fortville, Indiana — where every day starts before the sun gets too high and the animals always come first.

A Day on the Farm

Each morning begins with feeding and watering every animal on the property, followed by wellness checks to make sure everyone is happy and healthy. It's a labor of love, but there's nothing quite like starting the day surrounded by the sounds of a thriving farm.

Our Flock

We raise a beautiful variety of chickens and Jumbo Coturnix Quail, but our story started in a way many farmers know well — we thought we had all hens, until a sneaky rooster had other plans. From that moment on, it was history, and MeansFarmsLLC was born.

Welcome to the Herd

We're excited to share that we've recently added three beautiful Nigerian Dwarf Goats to our farm family! These little ones have already stolen our hearts — especially Honey, our smallest female and personal favorite. Stay tuned as we grow this side of the farm!

Why We Farm

Farming, at its core, is about creating something from absolutely nothing — and turning it into something amazing. For us, it's about building a sustainable source of protein and milk, raising animals with care, and sharing that with our community. Every egg hatched, every chick raised, and every goat bottle-fed is a reminder of why we do what we do.
